It's true what Dea says about your children growing up. Mine are in college/grad school now, and I'm not sure I could find a full-time job after all my years of freelancing. I don't regret my choice to be home with my kids (they have turned out great so far, [fingers crossed]), but I did and still do sometimes struggle with the feeling that I don't pull my weight in terms of contributing to our family income. It's a hard choice to stay home, but you have to do what is right for you and your family. Good luck to you on your continued journey.Sweet Posy Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07915541210527642552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186410688270879722.post-29285394848095013982012-05-04T08:28:38.867-07:002012-05-04T08:28:38.867-07:00Just a word from someone who has been where you ar...Just a word from someone who has been where you are now...prepare for when you are not a stay at home mom, educating your children and watching your husband live his dreams. Someday they will grow out from under you, think about what you want life to look like then... I didn't prepare and I "awakened" twenty years later unprepared for the next thing. Never thought about it. I encourage you to. It will be better for you, your husband and your kids. Maybe just keep your teaching certification valid so you can go back to do what you loved! And enjoy the journey! It is awesome. Just a little wisdom from someone calling back. Visiting from FMF.
